February 11, 2012 - Scott Dive Rescue Specialists will be presenting an Ice Safety and Rescue Demonstration at the Lackawanna State Park Winter Fest on Saturday, February 11, at 1:00 P.M. All available members who are planning to participate in the demonstration are asked to contact Dive Rescue Chief Bill White at billwhite36@hotmail.com . Members need to be at the park boat launch area at 12:15 P.M.
February 26, 2012 - Scott Dive Rescue Specialists will be participating in an Ice Rescue Drill at Tobyhanna Army Depot on Saturday, February 26, 2012, starting at 8:00 A.M. All members who are participating in the drill are to contact Dive Rescue Training/Safety Coordinator Bill Conlon at wildbill2117@comcast.net. Members are to meet at the Justus station at 6:45 A.M.
Winter 2012 - "Try Scuba" Program will be held at the YMCA in Dunmore. Anyone interested in trying SCUBA diving are asked to contact Fred Bales from Like-da-Fish SCUBA Training Center, (570) 281-3845 to arrange an introductory session at the YMCA. Cost for the session is free to all YMCA members or $ 10 for non-members.
April 2012 - An Open Water Scuba Diving Class will be held during the month of April at the YMCA in Dunmore. Anyone interested in taking this class are asked to contact Fred Bales from Like-da-Fish SCUBA Training Center, at (570) 281-3845.
